Zinta Aistars is the published author of three books in the Latvian language. She is publications editor and writer for a health care organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was writer and editor for the Kalamazoo College alumni magazine in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA prior to that; has published poetry, travel essays, stories, and articles in the United States, Latvia, England, Sweden, Germany, and Australia.
